Wilmington Hispanic Festival

Wilmington Hispanic Festival

A tradition since 1976 in the state of Delaware. Brought to you by dedicated volunteers in the community serving under Nuestras Raices DE Inc, a 501c3, non-profit organization. This event is a nationally recognized opening celebration to Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept 15- Oct 15) bringing over 10,000 patrons from the Tri-State/Mid-Atlantic area to celebrate the rich culture, food, music, history, growth year to year while educating the community and bringing community businesses, partners and people of diverse backgrounds together. We come together during a month long celebration of all ages, all cultures, to celebrate of the wonderful contributions Hispanics have offer continued to serve Delaware, the United States and beyond! Join the long standing tradition to this family friendly festival. The state/county/city recognized Wilmington Hispanic Parade and Festival continues to be lead by a volunteer team and local supporters. Originally this parade was called the Puerto Rican Day Parade, but with the diverse growing population of Hispanics in Delaware, it was voted on by community and board members in 2013 to have it be inclusive to the Delaware residence
